Peace of Mindfulness Counseling
Mark Waldrop is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working as a mental health and substance abuse counselor. He is experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Existential Theory frameworks with individuals, couples, groups, and families. He has experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, phobic disorders, bipolar disorders, and grief related disorders. He has assisted his clients to manage relationship struggles arising from codependance, personality disorders, divorce, loss, and LGBTQI acceptance. His specialities are assisting individuals with the adjustment to life following loss and managing anxiety through mindfulness.
Mark is exclusively seeing his clients via video counseling. Video counseling is an effective and convenient way for clients and therapists to participate together in psychotherapy. This modality allows for clients to see therapists in the privacy and comfort of their homes or private work space such as a private office or reserved meeting room. This modality is perfect for those with busy work schedules, or those clients with difficulty leaving home due to child care, physical pain/illness, transportation problems, or other issues.
If you would like to see if Mark and video counseling are a good fit for you, please reach out to Mark to schedule a ten minute initial consultation at no charge. If you have a device with a camera and microphone such as a computer with a webcam, laptop, tablet, or phone that has the capability to stream a video platform (such as Netflix or Amazon video), then you have all the equipment that you need for video counseling.
